Organisation:Disability Alliance

Comment:

Disability Alliance is committed to breaking the link between poverty and disability by providing information to disabled people about their entitlements and campaigning for improvements to the social security system for increases in disability benefits so that they reflect the real costs of disability in a better way.
A comprehensive guide to social security benefits and services for disabled people is published annually by Disability Alliance, called Disability Rights Handbook. The organisation produces a number of other benefit guides, and provides information through free fact sheets and briefings that can be downloaded from their website.
