The Lyneal Trust operates a purpose built canal boat which sleeps eight, and has shore-based accommodation, sleeping sixteen, for groups of disabled people on the Llangollen Canal in north Shropshire. A second boat, The Shropshire Lad, is available for day trips for up to twelve people from the base at Lyneal Wharf, near Ellesmere. Both the boats are equipped with hydraulic lifts and steering. A volunteer skipper will be provided for day trips only. The boats may be booked separately or with other Trust facilities.
