The British Society for Music Therapy (BSMT) was founded in 1958. The aim of the Society is to promote the use and development of Music Therapy. The Society holds meetings, workshops and conferences, which are open to all. Advice is also given on training in Music Therapy. The Society publish an Information Booklet (updated yearly) for which a donation of £4.00 is requested. They also advise on and sellsbooks on music therapy and other related subjects.
Anyone with an interest in music therapy may join the BSMT. Members receive the British Journal for Music Therapy and BSMT Bulletin - plus cheaper admission to meetings etc.
