Comment: | MAMA is a national organisation aimed at providing a network of care to help all mothers and mothers-to-be. It maintains a database containing details of all the mothers who contact them. If they are not able to put a mother in touch with a local group, then MAMA pass on the names and addresses of any other mums they have heard from in the area, so that mothers have a chance to make a few new friends and get support on a one-to-one basis.
The phoneline is open twenty four hours a day (ansaphone). A range of publications are available including a newsletter. |
