Comment: | The International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA) is a registered charity whose aim is to increase public awareness of the benefits of aromatherapy.
The IFA ensures that all IFA aromatherapists have received expert professional training, maintain a high standard of practice, and follow the IFA code of conduct and ethics.
For practitioners, the Federation can offer the following through its membership category:
+ a guide to professional standards of training and IFA recognition;
+ a professional network;
+ a programme of continuing professional development;
+ professional information and updating.
For the general public, the Federation can provide:
+ understanding of and information on the benefits of aromatherapy ;
+ safety advice;
