Comment: | The Childrens Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF), founded in 1980, offers emotional support to families and children (up to the age of eighteen) with liver disease, through telephone counselling via the Family Support Service. It also offers befriending through the branch network, a public information service and up to date information on current education and training opportunities for health care professionals, research into the causes of childhood liver disease and special events. It is solely funded by public donations and raises money to support families, further research and raise awareness of liver disease in babies and children. |
