The Association for Research into Stammering in Childhood (ARSC) is a charity which offers advice and conducts research on aspects of stammering in children. The Michael Palin Centre for Stammering Children has been developed by the Association for Research into Stammering in Childhood in partnership with Camden and Islington Community Health Services NHS Trust. It offers a free assessment and advises on specialist speech therapy for stammering children and their families throughout the UK. An important aim is to provide the family with a greater understanding of stammering and advice on dealing positively with the problem.
