Meningitis Research Foundation works in the community to raise awareness of the symptoms of meningitis and septicaemia - the blood poisoning form of the disease - and support individuals and families affected by the diseases through in-depth information and befriending. The Foundation believes that by funding vital scientific research into the prevention, detection and treatment of meningitis and septicaemia the charity will step closer towards its vision of a world free from these diseases.
