Cancer Research UK is the organisation created by the merger of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund and the Cancer Research Campaign. It is a leading cancer research organisation and is dedicated to the understanding, prevention and cure of all forms of cancer. It supports the work of three thousand scientists and doctors who are at the forefront of the worldwide effort to find new answers to cancer. The charity carries out its lifesaving research throughout the UK and relies overwhelmingly on voluntary funding to carry out its vital work.
