The Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) offers information and support to families and carers of children with acquired brain injury (ABI) and to professionals working in this field. It has a network of family support groups, an informative website, a phone and e-mail helpline and offers small grants to children and young people with ABI, and their siblings. Further information is available in the form of videos, CD Roms, booklets, and story books for young children.
CBIT also runs conferences, siblings' activity holidays and funds local and national initiatives.

There is a helpline on 0845-601-4939 (staffed six hours per week, but with twenty four hour ansaphone).
