Organisation: Let's Face It

Comment:

Let's Face It is a group providing support and advice to those who are facially disfigured, their families and carers. They aim to offer friendship and to link families in a similar situation together, so that mutual experiences can be shared and new friendships formed. The Network provides publications, including Let's Face It and For Very Special People with Faces to Match, and produces a Newsletter three times a year.
Regional meetings and an Annual Garden Party are organised by the group. They also aim to provide continuing education to nursing, medical and health professionals concerning the lifelong needs of people with facial disfigurements. There is also Junior Let's Face It for children with congenital anomilies or conditions caused by accident or disease.
