Comment: | SOFT (UK) is a registered charity that provides information and advice to families and carers of children with Patau's Syndrome (Trisomy 13 or T.13), Edwards' Syndrome (Trisomy 18 or T.18) and related disorders. Both syndromes are terminal chromosomal disorders. The syndromes can come in a milder form as Partial or Mosaic. There is help and support in feeding, caring, prenatally, bereavement etc. Contact with other families can be arranged for mutual support and the sharing of similar experiences. Publications include - Your Baby - Your Unborn Baby, and various leaflets. Other services include a twenty four hour helpline , an annual conference, video loans, prenatal support and a quarterly newsletter.
