Comment:

The Dysautonomia Society of Great Britain (DSGB) provides information and individual support for children with Familial Dysautonomia (FD), their families and Carers. A number of fundraising activities are organised to provide financial support for research and for affected families. They are not only a support group; they try to raise funds to bring specialists from the USA or Israel to England to hold clinics for FD patients. Whilst here they lecture to the medical profession - part of the Society's efforts to raise awareness of the illness and improve the knowledge of professional people in the UK to give the FD sufferer a better quality of life. A number of publications are available on request.
