Comment:

The Micro and Anophthalmic Childrens Society was formed in 1993 and has been a source of mutual support and self help to families of children suffering from this rare condition, and also Coloboma. The Group aims to put families in touch with others who have similar problems, set up a Resource Library, arrange an annual get together so parents and children can meet and discuss issues, produce a newsletter three times a year, raise public awareness and acquire computer technology for the production of large print and braille books for the benefit of children.
