The Ataxia-Telangiectasia Society provides information and support for people with Ataxia-Telangiectasia, their families and carers. Ataxia-Telangiectasia is a progressive neurological condition which affects balance and the immune system. It is a rare condition affecting approximately three in a million people. There is a higher incidence of cancer also associated with this condition. There are leaflets for professionals and families available from the Society. There is a twice yearly newsletter, family meetings and a family counsellor.
