Comment: | The Deerhurst Community Care Group (DCCG) provides a number of services to help people living in the Deerhurst district. It provides a prescription collection service which operates daily Monday to Friday, or at other times if urgently required. The Group will also drive people to the Doctor, Hospital etc. either urgently or by appointment. There are no charges but donations are always gratefully received. It is usually used by older people but will cater for all. The group provides a fortnightly minibus to Tewkesbury and a fortnightly one to Sainsbury's. Once a month an open door lunch is held at Apperley Village Hall. The Group has a wheelchair alternative available for loan. |
