Comment: | The Gloucestershire Arthritis Trust is a local fund-raising charity, whose aim is to help people who are affected by arthritis, rheumatism and similar diseases of the joints by funding resources and research. The Trust aims to improve the facilities at local hospitals throughout Gloucestershire, where medical and surgical treatments of arthritis and rheumatism are performed. Over the years funds raised have been used to purchase equipment for orthopaedic wards, physiotherapy and other departments, and instruments for use in operating theatres. The Trust also supports local research projects. |
