The aim of the Voluntary Euthanasia Society (VES) is to make it legal for a competent adult, who is suffering unbearably from terminal illness, to receive medical help to die at their own considered and persistent request. VES also distributes and advises on living wills; legally enforceable documents for refusing unwanted life-prolonging treatment. VES are the main suppliers of living wills, they can provide a free information leaflets, the Living Will pack costs £15.00.
They also publish a campaign journal "VE News" three times a year, available to members.
