Organisation: Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group

Comment:

The Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group aims to prevent isolation of people with myotonic dystrophy, their families and Carers, by providing information and telephone links with other families who know and share the same problems. The group also raises funds for research and publishes newsletters. There is at present no local co-ordinator for Gloucester, but contact can be made in various areas by contacting Mrs. Bowler. The Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group can provide a speaker to raise awareness.
