Forest Voluntary Action Forum (FVAF) acts as a local development agency for the voluntary sector within the Forest of Dean. This involves offering support and development advice, training, information, networking meetings,facilitating representation and generally being involved in local initiatives. FVAF also acts as a centree for recruiting, placing and supporting volunteers as well as the general promotion of volunteering. There is an accessible office resource centre with computers, fax, photocopier etc. FVAF also works with colleagues across the County to provide funding advice, training, information and ensuring the voluntary sector has a role in countywide initiatives.
Office open 9:00am to 1:00pm weekdays, other times by appointment.
