The Family Haven (formerly the Haven Trust) offers support to families living in Bed and Breakfast or other temporary accommodation. It takes referrals from Health Visitors, Social Workers and direct from families themselves. It is for families needing extra support and can provide nursery sessions for families who have children with special needs. The Haven has a supervised nursery run by NNEB qualified staff, a laundry with washing and drying facilities (cost £1.00), a kitchen providing hot midday meals, a dining and sitting room and a bathroom with constant hot water. Alternative therapies and craft sessions are available as is housing, financial and welfare advice and support .
