Comment: | The Scout Holiday Homes Trust offers holidays for families with any type of special needs eg. one parent families, families on low income, older people, families with a disabled member. No scouting connection is necessary. Accommodation comprises of either luxury caravans or chalets which have been adapted for wheelchair users, although no lifting equipment is provided. Units are self-contained with fitted kitchens, shower, flush toilet, TV and sleeping accommodation for up to six.
The fully commercial holiday parks have on-site shopping and catering facilities, sports and entertainment programmes. |
