Whaddon Children's Centre offers activities for families with children of pre-school age. Activities and services include:
+ sessional nursery provision for three and four year olds, with input from teacher;
+ full day care provision between 8:00am and 6:00pm at a reasonable rate for all pre-school children;
+ a range of family services, eg, drop-in, baby massage, toddler groups;
+ drop-in group at Lynworth school;
+ a varied range of adult education courses with crèche provision - parenting, cooking, IT;
+ home based support for families;
+ speech and language therapy;
+ library service;
+ job centre plus;
+ access to health visitor, CAB and Sure Start oral health worker;
+ inclusive provision for children with special needs.
