Comment: | The Park Early Years Centre provides a range of service to families and children. An experienced staff team provides early education to pre school children, with a wider remit to support children with individual needs. Working closely with Speech and Language Therapy and other professionals they aim to provide an environment in which all children can reach their full potential. A 2004 Ofsted Inspection praised the "high quality nursery education". The Centre was awarded Artsmark Gold in 2005 to acknowledge and celebrate the diversity of their arts curriculum. Family time sessions run daily with a special session, run jointly with Health Visitors, for parents and babies. The family learning programme enables parents to become full partners in their childs learning and develop their own skills and interests. They work closely with other organisations and can signpost parents to these agencies when needed. Breakfast and After School Clubs and the Childcare Development Officer (Childminding) are based on site (within the grounds of The Park Infant School) broadening the services to families. They open during term time with some holiday provision run in partnership with other agencies. For further information, please contact the Centre.
In April 2007, they will become a Childrens Centre. |
