The Centre is open to all pre-school children and their parents/carers. The following provision is available:
+ Pre-school Foundation Stage 1 and 2;
+ Ready, Steady, Go - two years nine months (pre FS1 term);
+ Family time - attended by all the family;
+ Next Steps - attended by parent/carers and children from one year old to rising three;
+ Baby Group - attended by parents / carers and nought to one year olds;
+ Stay and Play - eighteen months to three years, targeting children not attaining their milestones, who would benefit from early intervention:
+ Adult / Parent Support Groups, and adult education and parenting skills courses;
+ Holiday Playscheme for ALL children under six.
Sessions offer an extensive range of learning opportunities, advice and support to families in and around Cinderford.
The Centre has peripatetic input from speech and language therapists, physiotherapist, OT, paediatric consultant, educational / clinical psychologists, advisory teachers for visual and hearing impairment and so on.
Access or referral to the Centre is not dependent on children intending to register with Forest View Primary School.
