The Over Fifties, a social club for people who are over fifty, is held at the Podsmead Community Association every Thursday afternoon, from 2:00pm. All members are required to also join the Podsmead Community Association, but this does not present problems. Social activities are arranged, and the group enjoy playing bingo. The group is also in contact with another local group who organise trips, and members of the Over Fifties are invited to go on the trips.
