Comment: | Gloucestershire Cloud 9 Charity aims to send children who have suffered from health problems and disability, or being disadvantaged in any way, on a Holiday of a Lifetime to Disneyworld, Florida. Applications welcomed on behalf of children between eight and fifteen, suffering from conditions such as cancer, leukaemia, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida or any child who leads a restricted lifestyle due to pain or disability is eligible for one of their holidays, subject to medical opinion.
Referrals may be made by simple application process either by the family or by nomination.
The Charity provides all the child needs for the trip, including medical care and appropriate accommodation. Cloud 9 does not receive any grants, but relies on generosity of general public and hard work of Fundraising committee. |
