Hearing Therapy is for the rehabilitation of adults with an acquired hearing loss, both hearing aid users and non-hearing aid users. Services are also provided at Cheltenham General Hospital, Stroud Hospital and Cirencester Hospital. Support is offered, as well as counselling, and information on hearing tactics and lipreading skills, equipment available to help, such as TV aids, visual doorbells, amplified telephones. Referrals are made to organisations such as Social Services, PACT, LINK and Hearing Dogs. Deaf Awareness Training is available for outside organisations. Home visits are available in certain circumstances.
