The District Team provides Guide Dogs, Mobility and other rehabilitation services to blind and partially sighted people in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Visually impaired people over sixteen years of age who have difficulty in getting about because of their visual impairment can apply for a guide dog. There is no upper age limit to guide dog ownership, and people are accepted for training who have some remaining sight, varying degrees of hearing loss and other physical disabilities and health problems. The Association will provide all training, equipment and continued support.
