Dermatomyositis and polymyositis are very rare auto-immune conditions, affecting the muscle and connective tissue of the body, (joints may also be affected). The Myositis Support Group is able to provide information and support to anyone affected by these conditions. A quarterly newsletter is sent to all members giving details of events and information about these conditions. Funds are raised to aid and promote any research; donations are welcomed. Every member is sent an information booklet.
The Myositis support group covers the following diseases: dermatomyositis, polymyositis, juvenile dermatomyositis, inclusion body myositis.
