Ermin Neurological Centre (formerly Ermin House) is a purpose built twenty bed unit offering nursing care for disabled people aged from eighteen to sixty years. A range of care is offered including short term nursing, respite, rehabilitation, assessment and terminal care. There is no upper age limit to people admitted with Motor Neurone Disease. Staffing expertise includes OT's, physiotherapists, social workers, nursing staff, and clinical assistants. They are willing to be used as a resource centre offering advice and help to anyone requiring support. Other services include intravenous methylprednisolone for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis relapse and an electrencephacogram monitoring for patients having fits or faints.
