Comment: | Connevans is a specialist manufacturer of a wide range of equipment for people with hearing impairment. These include the Connevans radio microphone systems, to assist hearing in education and in outdoor sporting activities, and used inconjunction with hearing aids. Full colour mail-order catalogue is available free on request in the UK (p&p; charges for overseas). Other equipment and assistive devices include a range of Radio Aid Systems, telephones, textphones, video caption readers, plus listening devices for TV and Video. The catalogue also features items ranging from direct input shoes and earmold puffers to vibrating alarm clocks and personal pager systems, plus Soundfield and loop systems.
The wheelchair accessible offices are open Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30pm; visitors are welcome by prior appointment only. As a working factory, they can only cope with one visitor at a time to give them approprate attention with the equipment to hand.
