Organisation:Regional Driving Assessment Centre

Comment:

The Regional Driving Assessment Centre is for people with a disability who are unsure of their ability to learn to drive, and for those wanting to return to driving. Consultations are provided for a Driving Ability Assessment. Passenger Assessments are available, free of charge. Vehicle and Adaptation Advice is also available. Contact the Centre for an application form and for details of current prices. There are also satelite centres at Cannock and Oxford.
They have an information service on disability. The aim is to offer advice particularly in relation to outdoor mobility. They also have a library full of leaflets, books and videos on a wide range of topics relating to disability - for patients to refer to and take away if necessary.
The advice is confidential and is for people with disabilities, their carers and families.
