The Workers' Education Authority (WEA) is a national educational organisation providing courses for adults of all ages and backgrounds. WEA is a voluntary association run on democratic lines by students, voluntary members and affiliated organisations. It is a registered charity and non-party political. Classes are friendly, informal and enjoyable and are run in local communities. WEA SW Region covers Bristol, Bath and NE Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, including the new unitary authorities of Bournemouth, Devon, Cormwall and Poole.
