Comment: | Social Services staff help to resolve many social problems which patients, or their Carers, are likely to encounter whilst in hospital or on discharge. Particular help is given in assessment of need on discharge from hospital and provision of personal care to ensure a safe return home where ever possible, and in pursuing social security benefits, accommodation or ongoing care in the community.
Hospital Social Service staff are available at all Gloucestershire NHS Hospitals:-
