The Assist Birmingham Centre is an assessment unit run by the Social Services Department of Birmingham City Council. Occupational Therapists are available to give advice on all aspects of daily living to people with disabilities, their carers and professionals. Anyone can have an assessment but an appointment is necessary. All equipment is on loan from suppliers and the range includes all aspects of daily living, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, stairlifts, vertical lifts, mobility, and wheelchairs. Items are not for sale, but lists of suppliers will be given on request to customers. There is level access to the premises, and good parking facilities.
