Organisation:National Wheelchair Tennis Association

Comment:

The Association promotes the game of tennis to disabled people and gives them an opportunity to play on a social basis or participate in tournaments. Tournaments are held at a number of venues around the world including USA, France, Switzerland, Japan and Israel. Wheelchair tennis players are grouped into divisions depending on their ability as a tennis player. They range from levels for the top wheelchair tennis players though to lower divisions for the novice players. There are divisions for quadriplegic and junior wheelchair tennis players.
The British Tennis Foundation (BTF) also has sections for Deaf Tennis, and for those with Learning Disabilities.
