Comment:

The Touch and Hearing Centre is a resource based at Gloucester Cathedral for visually impaired people. It comprises a wooden model and ground plan crafted in simplified form, enabling a visually impaired person to appreciate the size, structure and architecture of the building. A commentary accompanies the model, describing parts of the Cathedral in sequence, as they are touched. Headphones are available for use with this cassette commentary. Braille Guide Books and large print info leaflets are available, as is an acoustic fingerprint guided tour.
