Comment: | District Nursing provides care for housebound people in their own homes. Referrals to the service can be made from anyone - a professional person, neighbour, friend or relative. When asked for help, the District Nurse visits the home and assesses the situation, discussing any treatment or care needed. District Nurses work very closely with GP's and other agencies and can be contacted through the GP surgery.
At weekends the DN cover is provided via the out of hours service, which can be contacted by ringing the sursery on 01453-883793. |
