Organisation:District Nursing Services

Comment:

District Nursing provides nursing care for people in their own homes and in Residential Homes. Referrals can be made by anyone - a professional person, neighbour, friend or relative. When asked for help, the District Nurse visits the home and assesses the situation, discussing any treatment or care needed. They are a resource for the whole community and will advise on any aspect of health or nursing care. They work very closely with GP's and other agencies, and can be contacted through the GP surgery .

After 4:30pm, and at weekends and Bank Holidays, District Nurses can be contacted by ringing 01452-812545.
