Comment:

REMAP is a voluntary service provided by engineers who are able to design and manufacture one-off customised equipment to improve the quality of life for disabled individuals. The panal is made up of engineers and occupational therapists. All the engineers' time is given on a voluntary basis. Most cases are referred by occupational therapists from Social Services and health and community workers and special schools.
The problems cover any aspect of difficulty disabled people or their carers have in solving difficulties encountered in their daily lives, which cannot be solved with standard commercial equipment despite the increasing range and technology available.
Alternative contacts are John Fox on 01451-861432, Charles Dobbin (Vice Chairman) on 01452- 527851, or if you would like to make a donation, Ron Crumpler (Treasurer) on 01453-756825.
