Comment: | The Weavers Croft Carers Group offers support to carers of older people who have been diagnosed with Dementia and are known to the service through its Carers Education and Training Programme. Each group on the programme runs over a period of nine weeks and each session runs from 1:30 to 3:00pm on Monday afternoons. Contents of the sessions include opportunities to share experiences, advice about the illness, what support is available to carers, advice about benefits, and information on stress management. A number of guest speakers are used during these sessions. |
