Articles for the Blind is a service offered by Royal Mail to blind or visually impaired people, (proof may be necessary, either from a doctor, ophthalmologist or ophthalmic optician). It allows specified letters and parcels to be sent first class post free of charge. Rules governing allowable items are quite complex but a user friendly enquiry service is available by contacting the local Royal Mail Customer Care department at the above address. They will also answer any other questions if possible.
