Comment: | Help the Aged runs a SeniorMobility Scheme which purchases minibuses on behalf of projects working with older people throughout the UK. The Community Car Scheme purchases smaller vehicles on behalf of groups, which would be beneficial to scattered rural communities. The Charity can offer funding towards vehicles by offering grants, thus sharing the cost with the project receiving the minibus or by assisting with fundraising advice. Projects which have raised all the money themselves may take advantage of the Bulk Buying Scheme to purchase minibuses at a substantial discount. |
