The Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre specialises in the total management of patients paralysed following spinal cord injury or non progressive spinal cord disease. This includes ongoing advice and follow up to meet the changing needs of the patient.
The Centre is situated at the Salisbury District Hospital site and benefits from close links with the general departments there. It comprises a purpose built unit which specialises in caring for people who have spinal cord injury and serves patients in the South and South West of England.
Salisbury District Hospital is run by Salisbury Healthcare NHS Trust, and it provides a range of specialist services which includes the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Unit.
