The Association offers a Resource Room, selling aids and equipment, together with a demonstration area of computers and CCTV's. There are monthly social afternoons arranged in each major location across the county offering entertainment, tea and transport. A six-monthly Newsletter is published in Large Print, Braille or on Cassette. A yearly holiday is also arranged to a seaside location. Craft classes are available in most areas together with lawn bowling, hand bell ringing a monthly music evening and afternoon. Ballroom dancing, ten-pin bowling, games afternoons and a Macular degeneration self-help group is also offered.
The Association offers a countywide visiting service. Volunteers are trained in all aspects of visual awareness and help with correspondence, reading bills, trips out, etc.
The Association offers tape copying and a braille service.
