Comment: | The GL14 Community Project has been set up to provide a support network for people living in the GL14 postcode area. They provide after school clubs at two local schools for children aged three to twelve years, also summer projects and holiday activities. Courses are available for adult education during term time, with creche facilities available. They offer advice and benefits information including form-filling, and will refer to other agencies when appropriate.
For English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) there are:
+ plans to run an after-school club for the over fourteen's, using the computer suite;
+ family history courses currently running;
+ social events providing shared outings and access to theatres, et;
+ IT and arts courses, daytime and evenings. |
