Comment: | District Nursing provides nursing care for people in their own homes. Referrals to the service can be made from anyone - a professional person, neighbour, friend or relative. When asked for help the District Nurse visits the home and assesses the situation, discussing any treatment or care needed. District Nurses work very closely with GP's and other agencies and can be contacted through the GP surgery. |
