Comment: | Neighbourhood Management (Community Counts), has been set up in Gloucester to provide a champion for local people. It will do this by ensuring that the public services local people receive are as good as they can be. Neighbourhood Management will specifically target the Barton, Tredworth and White City areas of the city, as these have been identified as areas that would benefit the most from the service.
Community Counts is funded by central government and, until March 2009, will be working as an umbrella organisation towards the co-ordination of various existing projects and agencies to provide a better and all-inclusive service, and working to provide a better life-style for people in the area.
