This Association is a voluntary charitable organisation which provides services for children and families where a member has spina bifida and-or hydrocephalus or related conditions. It provides information, counselling, support, and offers group and family holidays, independence workshops and leisure, and recreational facilities. There are a number of local groups throughout Scotland, and a quarterly journal is published entitled Talkback.

There is also a Family Support Line which covers many related health and social issues and this can be contacted on 08459-11-11-12, and an Appeals Hotline on 01236-794508.
